Budget Allocation

The Ministry of Finance, National Planning, and Trade has allocated a budget for the Seychelles Maritime Safety Authority (SMSA) for 2025. According to the Appropriation Bill, 2024, the SMSA has been allocated a budget of R14,880,000.

The SMSA’s budget will be used to fund its various activities, including:

  • Safety inspections and surveys: To ensure the safety of ships and crew, as well as to prevent pollution and protect the marine environment.
